Crowned Couture is a different kind of children's clothing company because we don't have to fit into a mold. Neither should your child.  Please read this information below and see the example at the bottom of the page.

About the Crowned Couture Baseline Measurement System

We create patterns from 3 key components. We must have these components prior to your order being made.

1- Age.  2- Chest or waist size. 3- Length from top of the shoulder to the top of the knee OR belly button to floor with no shoes on.

For number 1 - The age is the easy part.  SELECT AGE FROM THE BOX LOCATED ON THE PAGE OF THE ITEM(S) YOU ARE PURCHASING!! 

For number 2 - Chest or Waist, please use the following instructions to obtain correct measurements for your child.

1. Measure around your child's chest (for dresses, shirts, etc) OR your child's waist (for pants, skirts or shirts). Measure at widest part with a flexible tape. Make sure the tape isn't sagging anywhere and that it is close to the skin, but not too tight.

2. Find the measurement for the chest OR waist below.  That is your Size you select when placing your order. Your child may wear a 2T but measure a n 18-24 Months. Your order would be for an 18-24 Months.

3. It is important to note that we have all kinds of different lengths of items which are designed to be longer, or shorter than lengths listed.  These are approx measurements and all will vary slightly.  Our Karis Dress for example, is designed to be longer than listed measurements on purpose.  THE ONLY MEASUREMENT TRUE TO THESE LENGTHS IS THE MARIE DRESS!

For number 3 - Top of shoulder to top of knee OR belly button to floor with no shoes on Do the following ::

1. When ordering a top, or dress, measure your child from the top of their shoulder to the top of their knee.  ENTER THAT NUMBER IN INCHES INTO THE BOX LOCATED ON THE PAGE OF THE ITEM(S) YOU ARE PURCHASING!!

2. If you are purchasing pants, skirts, shorts, etc., Measure from your child's belly button to the floor (a hard surface is best) don't forget to take off shoes! ENTER THAT NUMBER IN INCHES INTO THE BOX LOCATED ON THE PAGE OF THE ITEM(S) YOU ARE PURCHASING!! 

This is our Crowned Couture Baseline Measurement System.  This method will only verify the length base. Not the physical measurement of the Crowned Couture piece you are ordering. All styles vary in length by design.

Now that you are familiar, please understand that you will need to enter you childs measurements, and this is simply just an added bonus of choosing Crowned Couture as your child's clothier of choice!  There is no other clothing company doing what we do in such a streamlined manner, and we are glad your are here!

We understand how hard it is to find clothing to fit your child. By providing us with these details, we are able to make clothing you child can love and wear.

EXAMPLE :: How to select sizing for a Bella Dress.

Chest: 20"  : Your child may WEAR a 2T in other clothing lines, but SELECT THE CHEST SIZE SHOWN BELOW!

Age: 2  :: Enter into box.

Top of shoulder to knee: 19" :: Enter into box.

And yes, your child's clothing will fit when you receive it, and yes we are sure. (NOTE:: your items are made to these measurements, please measure correctly as we are not responsible for items made for you that do not fit because of mis-measurement)
